About The Junkluggers
The Junkluggers is an eco-friendly furniture removal company located in New York City. Our company’s mission is to keep as many items out of the landfill as possible by donating, reuse and recycling the “junk” collected. We are very serious about are mission of keeping our customers items out of the landfill that we’ve made a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) to keep 100% of the items we removed out of the landfill by the end of 2020. About Our Co-Host
Zachary Cohen has a strong passion for donations, reuse and recycling. His key goal with The Junkluggers is leaving the world a better place than before our business entered into it. Zach has been around junk (and donations) for over a decade. Zach graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors of science with a focus on Accounting from the School of Business. Some areas of The Junkluggers that Zach specializes include strategy (by design), accounting, finance, culture and leadership. When Zach isn’t working, he can be found hiking in the woods with his dog Cooper or kayaking on Canoe Brook Lake. Zach has participated in Big Brother Big Sister of Southeastern Connecticut for over a decade with his little brother (who’s not so little anymore) Wyntrel.
