The average U.S. citizen throws away approximately 70 pounds of clothing every year. do + brew is a D.I.Y (do-it-yourself) and mending party that inspires us to give new life to old or unwanted items.
In partnership with @donateNYC and @ProjectFarmhouse.NYC, do + brew is back for ReFashion Week! With a massive swap there are clothes that are a perfect fit for every body. And if you’re not in love with something in your closet or something at the swap, transform it to something new with mending workshops, DIY tutorials, natural dyeing, painting on fabric, and more innovative ways to reinvent your wardrobe.
This event will include an open bar, music, and a chance to meet conscious minded people in the city. From 2-3pm there will be a VIP light brunch where you will have the chance to get first preview of the swap, mingle with leaders in the conscious fashion movement, and meet VIP swap curators @pinkvintageheart, @positive.obsession and @iampmuna. Informational images and short videos provide by us at Remake.
All ages welcome. Nab your tickets before they’re gone! Link in their bio @esanewyork.
