Cocktails For a Cause & Styling Event
‘Tis the season….please join us for a virtual fundraiser celebrating Remake’s 5th Birthday! Event hosts: Natasha Dolby and Seema Shah.
We’ll begin the evening with celebrity and wardrobe stylist, Tara Swennen. Celebrity stylists are the real behind-the-scenes fashion influencers and image makers. In fact, styling plays a pivotal role in industry success and is key to making fashion a force for good. During her styling demo, Tara will share firsthand knowledge of how she is leading change within the fashion industry. In addition, she’ll share her essential “How to Guide” to styling, expert tips on how to choose what’s best for you, and ways to build a purpose-driven business in fashion. Swoon ❤️
Next, we’ll continue our festivities with cocktails hosted by Remake Ambassador and Catcher in the Style Founder, Thania Peck! While sipping your fav holiday drink or HAUS cocktail (discount code upon RSVP’ing), you’ll hear sustainable fashion impact stories from the field. Remake Ambassadors across the U.S. will share their personal fashion journeys along with how Remake impacted their thoughts on the industry and empowered them to be a force for good within their own communities.

Remake X Other Lives: DIY Metal Embellishment Workshop
First time sewing? No problem! Betsy & Kim, from Other Lives, will answer any and all questions as we go and help brainstorm new ideas with you.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to update tired pieces in your wardrobe by decorating them with metal findings you already have. Together, we’ll work on silhouette manipulation, hand sewing chain fringe, safety pin embellishments, and chain straps.
