Our mission with the Sustainable Fashion Week Hub in Brighton is to challenge society to rethink our relationship with clothes. We want to help provide the public with tools needed to extend the life-cycle of what we wear and empower the community to demand accountability for the harmful practices in the fashion industry.
This SFW hub will be taking place in one of Brighton’s most iconic locations (The Brighton Dome!) and will be offering a weekend packed with clothes swaps, a mend and repair room where members of the public can bring their clothes in to be given a second lease of life, a stylist corner helping you make the most out of the clothes you already own, sustainable market traders ready to showcase their products and services, and discussion panels with slow fashion activists and fair wage campaigners sharing their top tips on how to make a positive change in the world by buying less. And the best thing – IT’S ALL FREE – because we’re determined to make sustainable fashion accessible to everyone.
