Reimagining Your Wardrobe Natural Dye Series

June 18 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Studio Azurra is the river through which anthropogenic passion from art, design, and environmental conservation flows in unity. Stemming from the Italian word for azure, the color often used to describe the ocean, Azurra provides an inclusive waterway for all to learn, and be inspired by the beauty of natural dyeing and sustainable fashion. At Azurra, you can immerse yourself in small-scale natural dyeing classes where we cover how to dye fabric with materials ranging from avocado skins to foraged mushrooms. To amplify impact, Azurra partners with numerous charitable organizations to ensure a portion of proceeds is donated to conservation or other essential causes.

This class is offered as part of a 3-course series with Remake, an organization dedicated to educating and championing climate-forward and socially-just fashion. This series is a collaboration as part of their #NoNewClothes campaign, which runs from June – September of each year. In this series, you will have the opportunity to reimagine your wardrobe with new colors made from natural materials including scraps from your kitchen, herbs from your garden, and materials from the wild.

Each class can be taken individually, or all three classes can be purchased together to receive a discount in taking the entire series.

A portion of your purchase will be donated to Remake following the campaign. We are grateful to partner with Remake, and look forward to helping you reimagine your wardrobe!
