Sara Phillips, Community Organizer – Florida Sara currently works in Member Claims at Better Cotton, the world’s largest cotton farming sustainability program. She is passionate about the connections between agriculture and fashion. In 2021, she completed a Masters in Sustainable Fashion at Polimoda in Florence, Italy. Previously, she worked in the United States Federal Government at both the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and at the Department of State for almost a decade, specializing in communications. Additionally, Sara is an accomplished entrepreneur, starting a niche perfume brand that was featured in print media and local television in the Washington, D.C. area. Now based in Orlando, Florida, on the weekends you can find her gardening, at the beach, or learning about producing olive oil and wine.
