To kick off Reclypt’s season of alternatives to holiday overconsumption, we’ll be offering an afternoon, All About Denim on November 18th. Denim is a versatile fabric that can be easily repaired, patched, upcycled and more, and not to mention is a timeless fashion staple. Not only does it have a strong presence in the second-hand and vintage clothing market, but is fun to play with!
***The afternoon will start with a 30 minute panel and Q+A on the history, environmental and social impact, and endless possibilities of keeping denim in circulation; during which the denim swap will be setting up. Afterwards, participants will break off into “circular fashion” workshops such as painting, tailoring, embellishing, repairing, and more until clean up and the completion of the workshop.
