Job Description

Remake is looking for a part-time contractor to support the Remake ambassador program. This person will work directly with Remake’s Community Director, helping to oversee, develop, and motivate Remake ambassadors. Specifically, this role will be responsible for project managing the development of Remake’s student ambassador program as well as executing the tasks necessary to bring Remake’s student ambassador program to life. 

Responsibilities and Duties

Program Management 

  • Support the development of Remake’s strategy for its student ambassador program and rollout across universities in the U.S. this fall 
  • Oversee data collection and evaluation of student ambassador-led events and university engagement opportunities 
  • Create a recognition system for student ambassadors to keep them fully motivated to promote the brand and encourage them to go the extra mile
  • Track the impact of student ambassadors towards Remake’s goals of remaking the closets of 1 million women by 2025 

Student Ambassador Training

  • Create and adapt written and online resources for student ambassadors 
  • Facilitate in-person training and/or webinars for student ambassadors
  • Oversee the coordination and training of student ambassadors 
  • Develop innovative methods of delivering training through the use of technology
  • Manage digital assets, working with the marketing and social media teams to share cross-departmentally to ensure that all content is utilized efficiently and cohesively


  • Two to five experience in volunteer and partnership management and/or as a brand ambassador 
  • Knowledge of, and passion for, equity issues, women’s rights, and ethical fashion 
  • Demonstrated relationship-building skills, with success in cultivating long-term partnerships, 
  • Experience developing training and resources for students 
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative setting; comfort and experience working with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances
  • Detail-oriented, strategic thinker, creative problem-solver, self-motivated
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and dynamic speaker 


  • Passion for people and ability to engage in authentic, meaningful ways
  • Strong management and organizational skills
  • Fully proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Google Drive
  • Outgoing personality
  • Analytical and multitasking skills 
  • Previous experience as a student ambassador position a plus
  • Previous experience in a similar or program management position a plus
  • BS degree in Marketing or relevant field; MBA or MS candidate a plus
